Revealing “The Ugly Truth”
Remember when Steve Martin was funny? I mean, when he wasn’t trying too hard and was authentically funny? Well, during this period he made a movie called “Roxanne” which remains to this day to be one of my favorite romantic comedies. “The Ugly Truth” reminded me a lot of that movie. “Half-Blood Prince” Not Half Bad…
I am certain I am going to go off on a tangent during this review, so let me begin by saying that I love the Harry Potter books. I have read them all usually within a few days of their release. That being said, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, as a movie, is excellent. It is stunning visually, extraordinarily well performed by everyone involved, and has an extremely moving, dark, and complex story. Ice Age 3: Dinosaurs and Crazy Weasels – What’s Not to Like?
Let’s face it, dinosaurs are awesome. Not just for children, either. I am a full-grown man and I love watching dinosaurs. They are huge, scary, funny-looking, and diverse. I am also a father of two young children and I can tell you that they both adored watching “Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”, which alone is great news. The even better news is that I enjoyed watching it too. It is a very funny, visually rich, and exciting movie.
